Questions to ask about your project to evaluate effectiveness

Did you select a topic appropriate to the assignment?  Did you identify subtopics within the major topic to include in the project?

Did you get resources from a variety of types? (examples: books, magazines, newspapers, websites)   Have you evaluated all of your resources?

Have you taken notes and completed an outline?

Have you cited all of the resources you used in the MLA format from NoodleBib?  Have you used your own words or used direct quotes from resources?  Have you created a project free from plagiarism? Have you complied with all copyright laws

Have you completed the assignment given by your teacher?  Have you included all of the parts requested?

Questions to ask about your project to evaluate efficiency

What resources provided you with the best information?  What "tools" did you use to find these resources? (examples:  SIRS, EBSCO, Google, FHS Computer Catalog)

How would you go about this process differently next time?  Would you go to different resources first?  Did you find using Online Databases ( examples: SIRS, EBSCO, Opposing Viewpoints) more efficient than searching the WWW with search engines such as Google?  Why or why not?
